Tearfund is one of the UK’s leading Christian relief and development charities, working in partnership with Christian agencies and churches in 70 countries to tackle the causes and effects of poverty. Climate Stewards is partnering with Tearfund to promote more environmentally aware lifestyles among our supporters, because it is the world’s poorest who suffer most from the effects of climate change.

CCBA

The Climate Community and Biodiversity Alliance is a partnership of research institutions, corporations and environmental groups. CCBA has developed and is promoting rigorous standards for evaluating land-based carbon projects. The CCB Standards identify land-based climate change mitigation projects that simultaneously generate climate, biodiversity and sustainable-development benefits. Climate Stewards projects are developed and to CCBA standards and are independently verified to ensure that what we actually deliver meets the standards.
