IMPORTANT! We think Climate Stewards projects are some of the best. But if you prefer a different project, then support that. Don't just do nothing.

Climate Stewards projects absorb CO₂ from the air. And tackle poverty in Africa. And create new habitats to protect wildlife.

£2 per month is affordable, yet makes a real difference. It is practical and symbolic.

Over a year, £2 per month offsets more than 2 tonnes of CO₂ - about a fifth of most people's emissions in the UK. It makes a statement you are serious about climate change and you know there is no time to lose. 

There are lots of good reasons for supporting Climate Stewards projects, and a bad one.

Good reasons for giving £2 per month

3. You plant enough trees each year to offset 2.4 tonnes of CO₂
4. You improve the food security of vulnerable communities in Africa
5. You provide habitat for wildlife under pressure

8. Your regular giving helps us plan our projects
9. You can add 25% to your gift at no extra cost through Gift Aid (UK tax payers only)
10. You support tropical forests which experts say are key to slowing climate change

Bad reason for giving £2 per month

Climate change is caused by the ordinary things we all do, the way we live. Tackling it has to involve everyone.

Encouraging others to join in is as important as reducing our own emissions. Hope works better than fear. We have to persuade and inspire, not just nag and criticize.
