God has given us a beautiful world. Now the climate is changing fast. Millions face drought, floods and famine. There's no quick fix but trees help. more

£15 a month plants 36 trees a year in Ghana. As they grow they will absorb 10 tonnes of CO₂ from the air, the yearly UK emissions.

Trees also help local people with better crops, restored land and increased income as well as providing habitat for wildlife.

Hacienda Los Olivos

Hacienda Los Olivos is a Christian retreat centre based in Andalucia Southern Spain, focusing on Art and Spirituality for church groups and individuals. We are using a range of techniques to minimise our environmental footprint including offsetting visitors' air flights with Climate Stewards.

Hands up Holidays is an award-winning ethical travel company. We offer the adventure of a holiday in an exotic location combined with the satisfaction of helping and getting to know local communities through volunteering.
